Why did you reach out to us?

I reached out to Locky as I was feeling incredibly unfit and weak. I had hip problems, shoulder weakness and had also developed plantar fascitis in my foot. My hip problems I later found out were due to a serious weakness in my glutes and I remember well my first sessions with Locky where my mobility in my joints was severely compromised. I have worked with him now since the inception and I have never suffered an injury due to overtraining. His holistic treatment of mind and body is extraordinary and I can say I have never been fitter or stronger in my entire life.

What change/Results have you noticed since training with H.FIT.. (Could be physical, emotional or Mental)

The change/results are extraordinary and difficult to put into words. I am strong physically and mentally. When I also need emotional support Locky has provided a wise guiding hand. In this past year I have succeeded in losing 15 kgs of weight and have literally transformed my body shape. I feel younger and am so much healthier for it. I was truly in denial as I think so many of us are and I now believe that using the excuse that you are getting older or menopause is just that, an excuse. I am proof that you can enjoy your training and not have to “wreck yourself’ at the gym. I can honestly say every training session I have been to with Hollistic Fitness has been enjoyable and fun and I am not a gym junkie! I support my training with daily walks and changing what I eat and my portion size and quite simply put, life is fantastic, easy and enjoyable.

Have you had any obstacles within your life?

I have had plenty of obstacles! My advice is to acknoweldge that it is difficult, feel the pain, make a plan and move forward and whatever you do, don’t dwell on them or use them as an excuse for not being healthy.

A note/Tip to those who are thinking about joining the H.FIT community?

My note to others who are thinking of changing their life – why wait? It’s a simple saying but so true- take each day at a time and don’t use setbacks as an excuse to give up ( like I always did!) Be kind to yourself and use the setback as just that, another day, and tomorrow is a new one!!
